It is December 3rd and it is 65 degrees, sunny, and gorgeous out there. Why are so many of you wearing coats? I mean, I brought my sweatshirt (because it's Massachusetts and it might just decided to snow) but I didn't actually put it on.

You guys! I took the train to Central, went to Four Burgers (because I was contemplating homicide of perfectly nice folks), ate my yummy burger, and then walked back to Kendall. Such a lovely day out! I walk fast and so by the time I got back to work I was a little too warm.

Dear Red Line--

I actually like you very much. I was running late anyway, and this way I had an excuse: Late on Account of Train Delays. I'm not actually too fussed, there was only one breakfast for me to deploy, and I figure I can put up with train delays in exchange for not being required to have a license, let alone a car. So consider this a letter of encouragement. Everyone else is probably sending you hate mail.

(Also, I ran into bercilakslady and got to chat with her which was good.)

Also...I was gonna post some sort of poll. I remember having a really hilarious idea for a ridiculous poll over the weekend but now of course I cannot remember what it was going to be about. Maybe my helpful housemates remember? Oh well.

I did get to watch some Farscape last night with corruptviridian and wow. I mean, it's my favorite show for a reason, but I actually have not seen anything past season one since it was cancelled and watching, say, "Out of Their Minds" made me so so so so happy that I actually own all of it now. Nothing else compares, really. I mean, there are other shows I love, but they just can't reach the levels of pure crazy-awesome that Farscape did. Plus, John and Aeryn are my favorite television romantic pairing of all time. Hell, they might even be my favorite romantic pairing of all time period. Such awesome snarky hotness!

In conclusion: I love my cancelled nutbar of a show!!!!

I may have petted my new Farscape: The Complete Series box set after tearing open the Amazon box. It's so shiny! John! Aeryn! Lots of leather and pop culture references and craziness! Also: the little orange sticker on the outside said "15 HOURS OF BONUS" which gave me pause. Bonus what, exactly? Crazy? (Yes, yes, I'm sure it's chock full o' special features, but let me mock with affection, okay?)

(Hahahaha the actual box says "bonus features" so I guess the sticker-proofing gnomes went home early that day.)

Last night I attended a most amusing party. \O/


cthulhia decided that what the world really needed was some sort of Real Genius/Dune crossover:

So...that was fun. Sometimes I forget to be social and then I go interact with other human beings just to see if my social skills still work and it's always nice to find that they do...good times.
